Sex and the City

Sex and the city has been a big part of my adult life -- I can't quite remember a time when I didn't love Carrie. (But I did hate her black bra peeking out of her designer duds!) Watching the show brings me back to different times in my life ...

--When I left for college I bought season two and Ashley and I bonded over the hilarious adventures of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha.
--When I did my internship in Dallas at M2Winc. I didn't have HBO so a sweet friend at the agency taped the shows for me (on VHS) and brought them to me on Monday morning!
--After summer break between junior and senior year my Delphi friends and I would wear silly "I HEART NYC" shirts (that we got from Megan!) and would watch SATC!
--I remember at Hope College the best part of my day was hanging out in Megan's bed watching re-runs between classes...we were addicted!
--And speaking of re-runs, the SATC re-runs is what got me through the law school years with Paul. He didn't have cable and DVD box sets were my vice!

If I learned anything from the Sex and the City girls its that you have to have friends! Time passes so fast and life flys by quickly (It seems like yesterday that Ashley and I were sitting down with yogurt covered pretzels freshman year to watch season two!) But things do change, but one thing does stay the same - Real Friends!

Last week I went with some sweet friends to see SATC 2 twice! Yay for Girls Nights!
