Dog Park

This weekend we took Milo over to the White Rock dog park -- he played, and played with his little doggie friends. It was so cute. Eventually he got hot and decided to cool off in a puddle by the water bowls. Needless to say, as soon as he was cooled off he was back playing in the dirt and completely covered in mud! Yes, right to the bath tub when we got home!

All the kiddies and puppies

Paul trying to make sure Milo plays nice :-)

Milo runs so fast he can barely keep his feet under him. He's so funny to watch!

Yes, leave it to Milo to get muddy!

Here's my very dirty puppy! We had to use Paul's shirt on the way home for Milo to sit on -- he was filthy!

All clean - and tuckered out!

The rest of the weekend Paul and I chilled by the pool, bbq-ed with some friends, went out for some fro-yo at a new place in North Dallas, (it's soooo good and is no sugar, no fat and extremely low cal!) It's the new "it" place, yummy!

update

This weekended Paul had a "boys weekend" with his law buddies in Vegas. I haven't heard all the details, (probably a good thing!!!) but I think they had a great time...

Back here in the Big D Milo and I relaxed after being in Michigan last week. I also worked a few hours Saturday, ran with my running group and had brunch with those folks Sunday morning. It felt so good to have a few days to just "chill" We've been so busy lately and now summer is just flying by! But at least that means my birthday is coming up! :-)

Bruce & Char's 40th Anniversary Party

This summer my parents celebrated their 40th (yes, 40TH!!!) wedding anniversary. So, my siblings and I pulled together and hosted a party in their honor. It turned out to be a lovely day filled with friends, family, food and fun! A big thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate - I know my folks really appreciated everything and enjoyed their par-tay very much!

Below are few pictures of the day!

Thanks y'all

A big thanks to everyone who made an effort to come out and see Paul and I this weekend!!! It was so great catching up and seeing everyone again. Love y'all!

I'm SAILING!!!

Our first day back in Michigan the Omo's took all us out sailing! It was a little wavvy... to say the least but we still had a great time -- except for poor dave who spent most of the voyage hanging his head over the side. Next time we'll remember the meds!

Here's the crew! (literally!)

Sisters!

Connorboy! (He's getting so big, huh!?)

Colin always needs to be in the pics :-) (and in the middle of everything!)

What a cute little sailor!

Don't worry, I didn't give up my J. Crew flip flops -- I'm just showing off how I can fit in Connor's shoes now! Crazy!

Fourth of July Weekend Visitors

This past weekend we had Paul's folks down to visit for the holiday weekend. They got a taste of the Texas heat in addition to a few other Texas favorites such as tex-mex cuisine and the rodeo! We also went and viewed some fireworks in Frisco and made a stop at the Dallas World Aquarium. We sure stayed busy and even little Milo is tuckered out now! Below are a few pics!

Here's Paul and I checking out the animals! Not quite Disney's Animal Kingdom, but we had fun.

Here we are at a Mexican restaurant in Frisco viewing the fireworks -- gotta love the view when you can have a margarita in hand!

All I can say is, "only in Texas"

Here's the Rodeo! This was a blast to watch -- now, I further understand the "Cowboy's Prayer"

While the boys went golfing Carol and I decided to go get pedi's in the air-conditioned salon!

The last night we took his folks to our favorite restaurant - Uncle Julios. They agreed it was delicious!

Milo turns 1 year old!

This week we celebrated Milo's 1st Birthday! He got a new doggie bed (pictures of that to come) new squeaky toys and yummy dental bones. We even got him a cake, which we ate! Yes, he is one spoiled little puppy!
