Vegas Baby, Vegas!

Last week I was in Las Vegas for the Vision Expo West tradeshow. We spent SEVERAL hours setting up our booth and putting everything together. Overall, is was a successful, (but exhausting!) trip. However, I did get to play a little... we were able to go to the new Cirque du Soliel Beatles LOVE show at the Mirage and do a little shopping at the outlet mall. Also, in the evenings we had some awesome dinners at "Aqua Knox" at the Venetian and "The Steak House" at Treasure Island. I was bummed I didn't have more time to be a vacationer -- working the show kept us pretty busy!

I was in Vegas for a week and didn't gamble one penny! However, some of my co-workers made up for it! Here's some of our group grabbing drinks at "BREEZE BAR" at T.I. the first night.

Here's the finished product! The Nouveau booth turned out great!

Vegas Celebrity Sightings!

Here's me with David Hasselhof himself! I recevied a signed postcard that I'll treasure forever :-)
At our Las Vegas tradeshow - Vision Expo West - we were lucky enough to be placed by a booth who brought in "Cheesy Celebs" to promote their booth. It was hilarious people watching!

The biggest celeb at the tradeshow was definitely Vanessa Hudgens from High School Musical. There were people lined up for miles to see her!

Milo Continues to Grow -- now 5lbs!

Here is Milo after his first grooming appointment. Doesn't he look handsome in his Halloween handkerchief!?
Here is me and Milo getting ready for bed after taking Paul out for his birthday. We celebrated a little early since I left the next morning for a week long trip to Las Vegas. We had tex mex for dinner and cake and ice cream at the house! On Paul's actual birthday our friend Rob and a group of boys took him out for a few drinks to celebrate.
So, it was just the boys for a week!

Here is little Milo sleeping behind the couch pillows. He loves to sleep
on the couch but isn't a big cuddler...yet! Mama's working on him!

NYC Travels

Paul and I have been pretty busy lately! I've been traveling a lot for work, (below are pictures from my recent NYC trip). Also, Paul went to Indy to visit Ed, Dewey and a few other law buddies last weekend. He had a blast catching up with everyone and sharing stories from their bar exams and job searches. They'll receive their scores early November and are all anxiously waiting!

We also had our first Dallas visitor a few weeks ago! John Leahey came to Dallas and stayed with us for a night. We showed him around the city and went out for excellent Tex Mex at Cantina Laredo. John was also able to meet our new love -- Milo!

Since I'll be in Las Vegas next week we're planning on celebrating Paul's birthday this weekend. I hope Paul likes the gifts from Milo and I!

We stayerd right on fifth avenue!

In an attempt to find a hot dog stand at midnight my co-worker (Colt) and I eventually found this place in Time Square -- only 3 blocks from our hotel! (Yes, we totally look like tourists!)

View of Time Square at night.

Colt and I were in New York for the Nickelodeon Parnters Update Meeting. Our meetings were at Chelsea Pier 66 and cocktail hour took place at the light house. It was a beautiful location and an excellent photo opportunity! Here is the view from Chelsea Piers!

Our last night we went for some NYC Pizza at Time Square -- Here's me being a tourist!

Milo Ten Weeks Old!

Milo loves to play on the couch and watch TV with us in the evenings....

Eventually, he'll settle into a "crack" in the couch and fall asleep. Or sometimes he'll relax on his back like he is doing above. Paul thinks thats hilarious!

While Julie was in Reno and Paul was visiting Ed & Duey in Indy Milo stayed with Rob & Marley. Its so nice of Marley to share his bone with Milo! They play so well together!

RENO

The lovely Nouveau Eyewear booth at the Costco Regional Meeting vendor fair!

The view from our hotel, Silver Legacy!

This week I went on my first business trip with Nouveau. We headed to the beautiful lanscape of Reno, Nevada to present new 2008 designs to Costco at their regional meeting. It also was Harley Davidsons convention week at Reno so their were people from all walks of life around the casino!

Mel's Bachelorette Party -- Chicago

Hot 80's Chicks! Gotta love the crimped hair and poofy sleeves!

Melissa VanDonselaar -- the bride to be!

Best Buds!

Bacheloretty Party goes 80's!

This past weekend we celebrated Melissa's last night out before she walks down the aisle October 20th!
The soon-to-be Mrs. Wilcox was given a proper farewell from singlehood with an 80's celebration. We went downtown Chicago to a bar called, "Awesome 80's Prom" where it's PROM 1989 every Saturday night! We rocked out the evening singing and dancing to Pat Benetar, TIFFANY, and White Snake. And lets not forget the live performance of Michael Jackson!
